How to Win the War Against HIV/AIDS

As demonstrated recently in Greece, when spending is cut, HIV positive populations spike. While the importance of spending to fight the war on HIV/AIDS is transparent, what isn’t is how this money is actually distributed and what methods are actually the most effective in fighting the epidemic.

Not surprisingly, not enough money is being relegated to actual prevention. As demonstrated above, the vast majority of wealth is spent on care and treatment, however when dealing with an epidemic such as HIV/AIDS, prevention is quickly becoming a higher priority in the international scene.

Educate yourself, protect yourself and don’t be afraid to take advantage of HIV/AIDS support groups to gain insights to live safely and responsibly.
